Overview : Windows Server 2012 r2 Installation and Configuration
This Windows Server 2012 hands-on training course provides the skills needed for Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012. This course also helps in preparing individuals for the Microsoft 70-410 exam, Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012.
Course provides a solid hands-on experience for learning Server 2012 r2 and is designed for those needing to be able to demonstrate basic day-to-day administration and configuration skills required for administering a Server 2012 r2 in a domain environment.
Students will install and configure:
- One virtual install of Server 2012 r2 Standard Edition full install
- One virtual install of Server 2012 r2 Core
- One virtual install of a Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 Professional or better
The course labs consist of configuring three virtual machines to join a 2012 r2 network, creating 2012 r2 domain environment and installing and configuring different server roles.
The length of course depends on the individual. Course could be completed in as little as 14 days or it could take longer depending on the needs of the individual.
Course is structured using short tutorial videos and hands-on labs. Students watch a short video tutorial, review the hands-on lab and then complete the lab.
